Erica's Crafts

Erica’s Crafts is created by talented Hong Kong based crafter/founder Erica Cheung. 

Erica’s passion in embroidery, patchwork, crochet beads and handmade jewellery started when she moved back to Hong Kong from Scotland in 2011. She was introduced to Tassel works which sparked her growing interest and lead to endless possibilities with her creative ideas. The following year, she carried her passion to a higher level by studying Haute Couture Embroidery in Japan where she obtained a qualification by the Association de Passementerie Japon (APJ ) and started her journey as a certified instructor. 

Erica is now a leading specialist in Japanese tassel and crochet beads, with many designs and works marveled by many. She is actively promoting the art of tassel to her students by teaching hand made crochet bead jewelry in Hong Kong. Many of her students upon completion of the course will receive a certificate by APJ. Her specialized skills bring a new and different concept to the embroidery and tassel culture.

Using a mixture of natural precious gemstones, lace threads, Japanese beads, Erica strives to make every piece of her jewelry unique and exclusive with special details in embellishing her art pieces to add artistic style, making each of her craft a work of its own. She has also been commissioned by various organizations to do many elaborate and noteworthy artwork using beads, embroidery and patchwork .
